Everything is pretty self explanatory in the photos. To get the desired depth from the waterbased stain it started as a very dark blue then sanded back with 400 grit, dark blue again, sand back, lighter blue, sandback then a very pale blue for the final stain. Finally taking shape – Once again the one with white binding will have a gloss black top/headstock and the black binding will have a white top/headstock. Both will have natural finished backs/necks. Either satin nitro or Tru-oil tbc.

Okay this one is about to get properly started, some lovely wood involved, some new designs and some slightly eclectic concepts going into this one but I’m pretty sure its going to be something pretty damn cool in the end.

Here’s a start on my first neck through builds. There are inverted neck through wood selections on either. One will have a white top/headstock and one with a black top/headstock. Both natural backs. Brothers from a different mother.
